What is Spout?

Spout is an on-chain platform for accessing traditional financial yield through tokenized real-world assets. Our goal is to bridge high-grade investments—starting with AAA-rated U.S. corporate bond ETFs—into blockchain-native formats, enabling crypto treasuries and institutions to earn stable, regulated yield without leaving the on-chain ecosystem.

Each token issued by Spout is backed 1:1 by real, custodial assets held with a licensed broker, and tracks the net asset value (NAV) of those assets daily. Spout’s architecture supports full composability with DeFi, while also introducing privacy-preserving features like confidential balances and transfers using fully homomorphic encryption (FHE). This gives institutions the ability to interact with real-world assets on-chain—privately, programmatically, and without compromising control.
